Join the Cancer Research UK team and help us beat cancer sooner
Thanks to runners like you, we’ve made remarkable progress in the fight against cancer, and we are saving more lives every day. But we can’t stop there, cures are within our grasp.
Cancer Research UK is the UK’s largest charity dedicated to beating cancer through research, but we don’t receive any Government funding. This means every pound raised by our supporters is vital to helping us realise our ambition of bringing forward the day when all cancers are cured.
Join our team at the Scottish Half Marathon and we’ll support you from start to finish. From expert training plans, fundraising advice and a technical running top, to amazing support on the day and a post-race reception, we’re the team that will get you to the finish line.
We’d love to have you on the team, join us today.
RUN FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK
By supporting Cancer Research UK at the Scottish Half marathon you will be supporting research in the local area.
All money raised will go towards research in Scotland, funding centres like the Beatson Institute where our scientists are developing kinder treatments for the future.
Last year Cancer Research UK spent over £31 million on research in Scotland, helping to increase survival rates in the area. Today, 2 in 4 people survive cancer but our ambition is to accelerate progress so that 3 in 4 people will survive cancer within the next 20 years. With your support we can make this happen. Together we will beat cancer sooner.
What we will give you:
- Technical running top
- Bespoke training plans
- Fundraising top tips
- Nutrition and injury prevention advice from our professional running coaches
- Huge post race party, including cheer points on the route and an all important post-race massage
We will be the team to get you across that finish line! Join our team today.
